National Curriculum

National curricula serve various functions and are simultaneously a control tool for following up on legal provisions, instructions from educational authorities on school policy, and a set of common goals for school work in the country. National curricula are intended to coordinate learning and teaching to the extent deemed necessary and ensure the right of all students to a certain minimum level of education and equal access to education.
